Axel Johnson International works in a systematic way to handle sustainability risks (health and safety, environmental, social and business ethical) within the supply chain. We are committed to make continuous improvements, meaning that we regularly increase expectations on our suppliers while at the same time supporting them to improve their performance. The aim with our “Sustainability program for supply chain” is to develop long-term relationships with our suppliers and improve their sustainability performance.

It is essential that all people involved in our supply chain are treated with respect and dignity, provided with good working conditions, and that environmentally responsible manufacturing processes are used. We seek to collaborate with Suppliers who adhere to responsible busi¬ness practices, based on openness, mutual respect, and fairness.

The aim with our “Sustainability program for supply chain” is to develop long-term relationships with our suppliers and improve their sustainability performance based on the standard outlined in our Supplier Code of Conduct.

Supplier Code of Conduct

Our Supplier Code of Conduct is based on internationally recognized norms for human rights, labor practices, anti-corruption measures, business ethics, and environmental sustainability. It establishes the minimum standards we expect from our suppliers, enabling us to evaluate compliance within our supply chain.

We kindly request all our suppliers to sign and operate in compliance with our Supplier Code of Conduct, reflecting our shared commitment to responsible business practices. We expect all our suppliers to operate in compliance with the terms and standards, stated in our Code of Conduct.

Ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for all our employees is a top priority. We recognize that some of our co-workers are exposed to high risks in their daily work, such as working well-below ground in mines or on high heights such as windmills. We encourage our companies to establish a systematic approach for Health and Safety and to work according to ISO 45001.
